Earwax - Friday 23rd April

We're doing another Earwax night. This time it's at The Lanes, so you can bowl while you listen to exciting music.

We have The Mandibles playing, too, which should be great fun!

New record centres for Jon Kennedy

I got asked to do a centre label for Jon Kennedy - his new single 'Boom Clack'.
(buy it here: Juno.co.uk )

I wanted to do a sort of 60s pastiche centre in the style of the pink and white Vogue label centres and similar. I'm pretty pleased with the result!

I got two versions: a red vinyl one and a rather lovely dark, dark red one. It just looks like black vinyl on the photo, but trust me, it's a really nice colour!

Garden party

Someone was kind enough to leave a lovely set of outdoor furniture in the luxury shared garden space next to my house. Unfortunately someone by the name of 'deb' seems to have reserved the best seat.

Hadron Collider - 12th Feb

Myself and Martin just dun a poster for our next evening of music. As should be fairly obvious, it's a pastiche of a penguin book circa 1964.

P.s. it's Nikola Tesla in the middle.

Bombay Mix

Ok so I got back from an amazing holiday in South India with Elle last week. Some photos will end up on here at some point but for now, here is a short little mix I made from some of the records I managed to find while I was over there!

Tracklist to come at some point, possibly.

merry new yearmas

Last post of the year, this. I shall be off to India after Christmas so the posting shall be slightly less frequent than usual until the end of January, when I shall probably be uploading holiday snaps.

Have a great yuletide festive holiday christmas time!

Here's that poster for The Lanes wot I dun:

Presenting

If I posted any drawings I've done recently it would mean disclosing top-secret present information and, frankly, I'm not prepared to do that.

Last night it did a bit of a snow so I had a wander around the East Street slums with my camera. Even Asda looked nice!
