Map sketches

Some planning sketches:
My friend James has commissioned me to do a large (250mmx500mm) print for him. Choosing a size that's larger than I can fit on my screens has possibly made things harder than they need to be for myself, but there we go!

I'm very much looking forward to getting stuck into making the print as I've not printed this big before. Slightly apprehensive about how on earth I'm actually going to go about it...

Long Ears, Short Ears screenprint

Some more screenprinted animals. Less ambiguous this time.
This is based on a diagram from The Wonder World of Snow and Ice, which has some very neat isotype illustrations (cheers for the lend, Anna!)

Another hand-screenprinted, signed and numbered 2 colour run of 15 that's yours for a paltry tenner - mail me at mail@alexd.co.uk

Ambiguous animal & rider screenprint

I've been enjoying drawing ambiguous animals recently, as per the card below. I suppose this one is some sort of camelweaselllama. With boots.

This is one of a short run of 15 hand-pulled 2-colour screenprints on nice 'wholemeal' A4 card. If you want one, they're £10 each (signed and numbered) - drop me an email at mail@alexd.co.uk

Thank-you cards

I did some thank-you cards for our friends (the same couple who we did wedding invites for) - guests to their wedding were asked to contribute towards their America tour honeymoon instead of giving wedding gifts.

Creature greetings cards

Some little beasties made their way on to some greetings cards. If anyone knows what kind of animal the last one is, please enlighten me!
